It’s a Big Mouth first for the fabulous Gbemi Oladipo!  Well on the way to becoming a household name, his engaging and unpredictable writing style combined with his high energy performances have seen him nominated for the BBC’s New Comedian of the Year, and win the Max Turner Prize for Comedy and The Comedy Stores King Gong.

He also wrote and starred in the award-winning  F*ck My Life – Most Racist Uber Ride Ever, a story based on one of his real-life experiences. The short film produced by Pulped Productions won the prestigious Broadcast Digital Awards in 2020 for Best Short-Form Format. It was also nominated for a Webby Award for Comedy (2021) alongside videos from James Corden (winner), Trevor Noah’s the Daily Show, and The Simpsons.  And if all that isn’t enough, he also writes for Sky’s Fantasy Football League show.  Catch him while you can!

Doors: 6:45pm / Show: 7:30pm / 18+

It’s Christmas! Time to grab your mates and book yourself a laugh out loud festive night out. And just look at this line-up!

Ignacio Lopez is one of our absolute favourite headliners.  A Spanish & Welsh comedian based in Cardiff,  his parents are Welsh/Irish & Moroccan/Spanish, and he has a German sister. Family get-togethers are like a meeting of the U.N.

You may have seen him on BBC TV (Comedy Sesh) and he’s a regular on BBC radio The Now Show and Breaking the News.

Hilarious – The Scotsman

Charismatic with a waspish charm – Chortle

Playful, brutal & bloody funny – Moody Comedy

A killer punch line writer, Julian Deane has appeared on The Russell Howard Hour and supported Paul Chowdhry on a world tour, which included Wembley Arena. He is also an in-demand writer, with his credits including Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Mock the Week.

Endlessly repeatable lines – The Guardian

A masterful joke writer – The Scotsman

MC Danny McLoughlin is another of our fave MCs.  Amiable, confident and engaging, he’s an absolute genius at getting funny stories out of the audience.

Live at the Apollo star Brennan Reece is one of the brightest comics to come out of the North West. With his quick wit and cheeky charm, Brennan is able say some of the worst things, and you’ll still go away wanting to introduce him to your Mum.

Stokesley 26 October

Featuring Emmanuel Sonubi, Rob Rouse plus others tbc
Saturday 26 September 2024 Stokesley Town Hall
Tickets: £17.00 (Bring Your Own Bottle)
Doors: 7:30pm / Show: 8:00pm / 18+

We’re still putting the final touches to our bill tonight but with headliners Emmanuel Sonubi & Rob Rouse you know you’re in for an amazing night!

Emmanuel took the roof off the place last time he played Stokesley. Ex-bouncer and failed contestant of ‘The Worlds Strongest Man’ he was born and bred in the East End of London where he extracts most of his hilarious interactions with the vibrant cockneys and reprobates he has encountered.

Now a father of two, he has a wealth of material of playing pranks with his kids as well as his awful parenting skills.

Rob Rouse’s brilliantly daft comedy is laugh-out loud funny.  A brilliant storyteller, his observational routines are an absolute delight. TV credits include presenting the first series of The Friday Night Project on Channel 4, the C4 sketch show Spoons, and playing Mike in the first series of the BBC3 sitcom Grown Ups.

‘He’s a man with genuinely funny bones’ Sunday Times

‘Brilliant, uplifting fun’ Chortle
