It’s Christmas Stokesley and we’ve got a unbelievable line up for you! MC Mike Wilkinson is a big favourite at Stokesley so we’re delighted to have bagged him for our Christmas Special. He’ll be introducing Rob Deering and Bobby Mair plus one more tbc.

Once seen, never forgotten, Rob Deering does stuff with loops and pedals and songs that are just genius. Clever, funny and charming, he’s also won Celebrity Mastermind and The Weakest Link.

Bobby Mair is – well he’s everywhere at the moment! The Canadian comic starred in a reality show with his wife entitled Bobby & Harriet Get Married.

It followed the couple’s wedding, which was officiated by comedian Romesh Ranganathan and they also featured on Channel 4’s Jon & Lucy’s Odd Couples. Absolutely buzzing to have him in Stokesley!

MC Matt Reed is back at the helm with his cheeky humour and razor sharp banter.   He’ll be introducing another all star cast with Jonny Awsum, Ray Poojara and Joanne Suvowiec. 

You might recognise Jonny from Britain’s Got Talent when he wowed judges with his hilarious musical comedy, making it all the way through to the semi-finals.   Bursting with energy and very, very funny.

Multi award winning Raj Poojara is a rising star on the comedy circuit.   An economics graduate who swapped a career as a private banker for a comedian, his gentle delivery about growing up as a British Indian has won him countless awards.  You saw him here first!

Joanna Surowiec’s playful, self-deprecating humour is laced with hints of darkness as she explores the joys and the ridiculousness of being a human in the UK.

MC Dave Twentyman is your laid back, charming host tonight and he’ll be introducing the sensational MC Hammersmith plus others tbc.   If you haven’t seen MC Hammersmith before, you are in for an absolute treat.    An improv rapper (yep – you read that righ!) his routine features lots of audience participation and some of the cleverest comedy around.  He has millions of TikTok followers and brough the house down last time he played Stokesley.  Don’t miss him!

MC Dani Jones is travelling a long way to be with us tonight so let’s give her a very warm welcome.  . Named as one of “Bristol’s Most Influential Women” and on “The Bristol Cool List, she’s also a brilliant MC.  

Ex postie Chris Washington has won multiple awards and appeared on everything from Live From the BBC, Mock the Week and Richard Osman’s House of Games.  You also might recognise him from an advert for the Nationwide Building Society.

Sometimes outrageous with always hilarious, observational and storytelling comedy for all, you will fall in love with our MC Nina Gilligan. She brought the house down last year and we’re delighted to welcome her back to Stokesley.

Think of a bolshier Mrs Merton and you’re in the right territory!

Award winning comedian Markus Birdman was a semi finalist on last year’s Britain’s Got Talent, was one of the very first British Comics to have his own Netflix Special – Live in Amsterdam.  

His 2023 Edinburgh show won him rave reviews and a nomination for Chortle’s Best Club Comedian 2023. 

‘A joy’- The Skinny

Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nominee Lauren Pattison is a Geordie with great material about the joys of being Northern.   Pithy punchlines and pitch perfect comic timing combine with a charming and eminently likeable delivery.
